Mike LaFlamme brings more than 10 years of collegiate coaching and player development experience to his work as an instructor, specializing in hitting, base running, and outfield/fielding instruction.
A former collegiate outfielder, Mike played at both UMass Dartmouth and Plymouth State University before transitioning into coaching. His coaching career has included stops at Plymouth State and Bates College, where he has worked extensively with collegiate athletes on their offensive and defensive development.
Throughout his coaching career, Mike has helped develop 16 All-Conference players, three All-Region selections, and one All-American. His impact on the basepaths has also been a major part of his coaching success, helping lead two NCAA Division III programs to a No. 1 national ranking in stolen bases per game.
Mike's approach to instruction combines his collegiate playing and coaching experience with an emphasis on fundamentals, athleticism, and game awareness. Whether working on a player's swing, defensive skills, or base-running instincts, his goal is to help athletes develop the tools and understanding needed to become more complete baseball players.
